ASUU Blames JAMB over new Admission Rules

The Academic Staff Union of Universities  (ASUU), College of Ibadan section, has blamed the rules discharged by the Joint Affirmation and Registration Board (Frame) for confirmation of applicants into Nigerian tertiary establishments expressing that Pillar acted past its forces.

As per the union, the Senate of Nigerian Colleges has the command to direct confirmation modalities as every college has models which are not subjected to the impulses and whims of any administration representative.

Talking, the Director of the union, Dr. Deji Omole, said both the Priest of Instruction, Mallam Adamu, and Frame Enlistment center, Prof. Dibu Ojerinde, first missed the point by conflicting with the managerial charges gathered by foundations for post-UTME and later turned around their stand in their rules which he depicted as illicit and intended to support offspring of the rich against poor people.

He said that the point-based scoring framework in the rules is not new as it has been utilized as a part of UI 5 years back and relinquished.

He similarly expressed that Pillar is just attempting to conceal their insufficiencies as its believability is yearly questioned. He called attention to that last year applicants were pushed to private colleges without wanting to and this year Frame recompensed 40 imprints to a few hopefuls without defense.

He encourage that with the stipulation on the present rules numerous competitors will be distraught and Frame would have succeeded in digging in defilement and further slaughter tertiary instruction in the nation.
